Truth: I’m a little obsessive.

My iPhone5 was stolen on Monday. (Sad face.) Since then I’ve been reviving my old iPhone4, which was interestingly hard to do. I mean, I get it. The iPhone5 is more complex and has more intricacies to it that the iPhone4 simply does not have. And no Siri. Or Game Center (which means no Skip-Bo……I’m at a loss.)

Anyway, the point is - my old iPhone4 is beat up. I left it with a cracked forward-facing camera and a scratched outer camera that creates super fuzzy, dream-like photos. Cool I guess, but not for the purposes of this blog. As you know, I want to closely simulate my vantage point. So, this evening, as I was sitting on my friend Megan’s front patio, I saw a V@TM and was sad I couldn’t take a picture of my sight. So, my friend lent me her phone and I took the pic, texted the image to myself and wah-la(!), everything is right in the McWorld.

Obsessed I tell ya.

With so many distractions and different ways to hear songs, it’s getting to be pretty impossible to give full albums the attention they deserve. When was the last time you actually listened to one all the way through, without any interruptions?

I actually listen to full albums all the time. When I get into an artist, I really get into them. I blame a mild case of music OCD. I also think I’m one of few. With Spotify, it has become easier for me to do this and explore new artists. I tend to either shuffle my “starred” playlist or play full length albums.

Call me weird.
